Sealing enclosed trailer floor.

Discussion starter 1 dec 30 2005. Easy to repair or re apply. Easier to clean and better looking trailer. Wash the areas to be sealed very well.

Well it seems herculiner. I basically just want keep possible oil leaks from staining the wood. I m looking to coat my enclosed trailer floor with a bedliner type coating. 1 year shelf life keep from freezing.

I priced a line x tyoe coating like i have in my truck and love it. Discussion starter 1 apr 4 2010. Evenly varnish the wood with a painter s rag or foam applicator brush. The haulmark trailer i m buying has a 3 4 marine plywood floor in natural finish.

What to put on enclosed trailer floor to seal or cover wood. Higher trailer resale value. They want around 1000 1200 to do my 7x14 v nose trailer. My dad just purchased 20 enclosed and is wanting to know what is best to put on floor of trailer to seal it.

The floor is 3 4 plywood i don t know if it is treated or not but the under side has been coated with a black sealer of some sort. Apply polyurethane wood varnish to seal and protect the floorboards from cracking warping and drying. Protects floors ramps and walls. Concentrate mostly around windows light fixtures door frames and basically anything that protrudes from the side of your trailer.
