When your ac evaporator freezes up and then suddenly thaws out from improper charge poor air flow expansion valve problem or thermostatic temp control malfunction the sudden thawing and in turn flooding can over exceed the drain capacity causing water to the floor.

A partially plugged drain can also add to the problem.

About where your little toe is there is a black hose coming down along the side of the transmission tunnel hump.
2010 probably up through 2014 s.
The ac drain hose if your sitting in the front passenger seat picture where your left foot would be up under the dash against the transmission tunnel hump.
Reconnect the tubes and watch it drain.
Excessive corrosion is another culprit as it may cause tiny holes to form in your car s body panels.
There s a drain hose that carries this moisture away but it can get plugged up.
The condensation must go somewhere so it finds its way to the passenger floor.
When you disconnect it plug the part that drains water with your finger and use anything long thin and dull to push through whatever is clogging the part that runs to the floor.
You can just pull it off and clean it out.
Open your hood and on the passenger side of the fire wall you should see a black tube coming out maybe 6 long.
It is accessible from underneath the carpet on the passenger side front footwell.
It could be the car a c leaking water on the floor which we ll go into deeper detail about or it could be a non a c related issue.

For example a poorly installed windshield or aging sunroof could allow water into the cabin.
